Advertising Policy
ToolRelief is an independent editorial platform.
Our primary goal is clarity, not persuasion.
This Advertising Policy explains how advertising works on ToolRelief and how we protect editorial independence.
1) Advertising Formats
ToolRelief may display advertising through third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense.
Ads may appear on pages such as articles, category pages, or other public pages of the site.
We do not guarantee that ads will appear on every page, and ad availability may vary by region, device,
or page type.
2) Editorial Independence
Advertising does not influence what we publish.
Advertisers do not approve, review, or edit our content.
Advertising relationships do not determine our topics, frameworks, definitions, or conclusions.
We do not publish ads disguised as editorial content.
If we ever publish sponsored content (rare by design), it will be clearly labeled as
“Sponsored” or “Advertisement” so it is never confused with independent editorial work.
3) No Click Incentives, No Manipulation
We do not ask, encourage, or pressure visitors to click on ads.
We do not use language such as “click ads to support us,”
and we do not use layouts intended to produce accidental clicks.
We also avoid placing ads in ways that could make them look like site navigation, download
buttons, or core site functions.
4) Ad Placement & User Experience
ToolRelief aims to keep pages readable and calm.
Ads should be distinguishable from content.
Ads should not interrupt reading flow with deceptive placement.
We avoid intrusive formats where possible.
(Ad behavior is partly controlled by the ad network and the user’s region/device.
We configure placements to prioritize clarity and prevent confusion.)
5) Cookies, Personalization, and Consent
If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors (including Google) may use cookies or similar
technologies to serve ads, measure performance, and limit repeated ads.
Some ads may be personalized, depending on your settings and your region.
In certain regions (such as the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), we may request consent before using advertising cookies.
Where required, ads may be limited until consent preferences are set.
For details, see our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.
6) Affiliate Links (Separate From Ads)
Some outbound links may include affiliate tracking parameters.
This is separate from display advertising.
We do not sell personal data.
Affiliate tracking does not give us access to personal information.
(See our Cookies Policy and any relevant disclosures on the page.)
7) Reporting Concerns
If you believe an ad is misleading, inappropriate, or interfering with site use, please contact us with:
the page URL,
a brief description of the issue,
and (if possible) a screenshot.
We review ad placement issues that we control and will adjust our implementation when needed.
